We’ve gathered a few tips and tricks that would hopefully help you get the smoothest and creamiest smoothie possible with your alternative supplies, all in two different methods, you can choose what would work best for you depending on availability to avoid any extra expenses. Keep in mind we want this to be as inexpensive as could be.

So, without further ado, let’s dive right in!

Method 1 – Mashing the mixture

For this method, you’re only gonna be using ripe to overripe fruit, to avoid any hard lumps. They’re easier to mash and will give you a smoother and creamier texture. Banana, Mango, Peach, Kiwi, Berries work best. Once you’re done mashing, add some liquid. Opt for kinds of milk that are higher in fat for an even creamier texture, like dairy milk or almond milk. If it’s too thin for you, add in a cup of Greek yogurt, flavored or plain, depending on whether or not you want it to affect the general flavor of your smoothie. You can choose to add in a spoonful of peanut butter or chia seeds for a protein boost, but it’s optional. You can also include powders to for some extra flavor, like cinnamon, turmeric or cocoa powder.

Stir hard and well with a whisk or spatula until you get your desired texture. Or, for a more fun experience, pour everything into a jar and keep shaking until it’s all blended together. Both ways are efficient. If you absolutely don’t want any lumps in your mixture, you can pass it through a strainer (and maybe eat the lumps later).

Method 2 – Use fruit powders instead

This is an even easier method to make yourself a smoothie without a blender. In fact, it’s the easiest! Using fruit powders has so many benefits. They are basically just fruits that were freeze-dried in order to preserve their nutritional value. They’re usually highly concentrated so make sure you only use a spoonful in each serving. One more advantage is that they don’t need refrigeration. So how do you make it? Easy peasy! All you have to do is mix one tablespoon of fruit powder with a liquid of your choice and voilà, you’re done! Most people use water of fruit juice, but if you want a creamier texture, opt for coconut, almond or dairy milk.

So there you have it! Two different methods to make a smoothie without a blender. It’s easy, quick, healthy and delicious! And on top of all, 100% handmade!
